Nicole joined CBSSM in 2008. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Master's of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education both from the University of Michigan. She also has a special concentration in Public Health Genetics.
Nicole is interested in education and health communication specifically around genetics or other emerging sciences and technologies. Her work with the Center includes coordinating online, mail and in person surveys. She also coordinates the Program in Health Communication and Decision Making (PIHCD) meetings.
Nicole has held several leadership roles in the American Public Health Association Genomics Forum including the 2014 Chair. She is also a member of the Research Coordinator's Council brought together by MICHR focusing on improving training for study coordinators across the university.
Outside of work she loves to read, dance and spend time with family and friends.
