Kaitlyn Jaffe, PhD

Kaitlyn Jaffe is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of British Columbia, MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Prior to graduate school, she also served in the United States Peace Corps. As a medical sociologist, Kate’s interests center around the construction of medical knowledge, social and ethical issues in medical research, and participants’ perceptions of and trust in health research.
