Emily Harlan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine, and a current Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellow in the Department of Internal Medicine. She attended medical school and completed a Master’s in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University. Emily completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Michigan. Her research interests include delivery of goal-concordant care, end-of-life care in the intensive care setting, allocation of scarce resources, and improving healthcare outcomes among patients who receive care in the intensive care unit.
