Infertility is a prevalent problem in American society, particularly among those have used the majority of their childbearing years in the pursuit of education, and particularly for women. No studies thus far have examined the incidence and prevalence of infertility among American physicians. This study serves to examine both the incidence and prevalence of infertility among American physicians and to examine attitudes towards childbearing and fertility planning.
