Research Associate

Ying-Jen Lin joined CBSSM as a Research Associate in August 2021 and has expertise in planning and implementing data collection and analysis for qualitative studies and survey research. Currently, she is working with Dr. Julie Wright Nunes on a project to implement and evaluate educational interventions and communication tools for optimizing patient-provider communication in chronic kidney disease care. She is also working with Dr. Geoffrey Barnes on research projects that focus on safe and effective delivery of anticoagulation care.

Ying-Jen received her Ph.D. in Sociocultural Anthropology from Michigan State University in 2020. Prior to that, she earned a master’s degree in Museum Studies from Taipei National University of the Arts and a bachelor’s degree in Life Science from National Taiwan University. When not at work, Ying-Jen enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter.
