Ying-Jen Lin joined CBSSM as a Research Associate in August 2021. She works with Dr. Julie Wright Nunes on a project to implement and evaluate educational interventions and communication tools to optimize patient-provider communication in chronic kidney disease care. She also works with Dr. Jeffrey Kullgren to develop and evaluate a novel patient-centered intervention to help high-deductible health plan enrollees with chronic conditions better afford needed health care.
Ying-Jen received a bachelor’s degree in Life Science from National Taiwan University and a master’s degree in Museum Studies from Taipei National University of the Arts. She earned her PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from Michigan State University in 2020. In her free time, Ying-Jen enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
