Daphna Stroumsa is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Stroumsa received their medical education at the Hebrew University / Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem. They completed 4 years of clinical training at Hadassah Hospital in Israel, followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and a fellowship in Health Services Research through the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Michigan. Dr. Stroumsa focuses on sexual, reproductive and gender-affirming care for gender and sexual minorities. Dr. Stroumsa is a recipient of an NIH K23 Career Development award; their goal is to improve transgender and nonbinary people's access to and quality of care through the development of interventions that improve gender-affirming care.
