Dr  Sarah Hawley, PhD, MPH, has received considerable press coverage on her presentation, "Is Contralateral Prophylactic Mastectomy Overused?" Her study found that many women who get a double mastectomy don't need it. The findings from her presentation were featured on the Today ShowNCI Cancer BulletinMSN & HealthDay and U of M Health.
