Samantha Chao, MD, was a CBSSM predoctoral clinical ethics fellow in 2018-2019.
Sam is completing her residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan. Formerly, a CBSSM predoctoral fellow in clinical ethics, Samantha served full time on CBSSM’s Clinical Ethics Consultation Service, helping patients and providers work through health care-related ethical dilemmas in real-time. She received her BA in English and Chemistry from Carleton College in 2016. Her research interests include reproductive health and rights, patient education, and quality improvement.
